Meetings with students and parents, sometimes together, other times individually. The number of meetings depends on the needs of the family and the student. In order to discern the following:

  •  Academic qualifications of the student.
  • Countries of choice (Canada, USA, Europe, UK, Australia, Asia, Middle East).
  • Degree and field  sought by student.
  • Financial abilities of the family.
  • Best fit for the student with regard to student’s academic history, community service and other talents which might include among others sports, art, music, theater, school activities, internships and/or work, etc.
  • Making sure parents and students understand the application process of universities in the countries to which they wish to apply, level of selectivity and entry requirements while working to the best of our ability to keep the family and student focused on what is the best fit while steering them away from ‘brand shopping’.
  •  Reality-check with regard to rankings, showing them how rankings can change depending on which organization is supplying it.

Personal Statements

  • Addressing the difference between a UK personal statement and those for the US, and all other countries
